Dan Marcum

Dan Marcum, CDPSE, possesses extensive experience in cybersecurity and IT management, having served in various roles across multiple organizations since 2001. Key positions include Cyber Operations Subject Matter Expert at Artemis, Inc., IT Manager for AFCEA Alamo Chapter, and pivotal roles within the United States Air Force, where responsibilities ranged from Chief of Assignment Systems Management to overseeing network infrastructure and operations for extensive military telecommunication systems. Dan has also held senior positions with Camber Corporation, the US Army, and USAA, focusing on IT governance, cybersecurity, and privacy. Educational qualifications include an Associate's degree in Electronic Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from Louisiana Tech University, and a Master's degree in Information Technology Management from Webster University, boasting a 3.97 GPA. Currently, Dan serves as Privacy Director at the FirstDay Foundation.
