Andy Shaffer is a consultant in State Regulatory Affairs for Ohio at FirstEnergy since June 2020. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Attorney General in the Public Utilities Section at the Ohio Attorney General's Office from June 2019 to May 2020, and as an aide to Commissioner Daniel R. Conway at the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio from July 2017 to June 2019. Andy also worked as an LSC Fellow for the Ohio House of Representatives at the Ohio Legislative Service Commission from December 2016 to July 2017, and gained legal experience as a legal extern to Justice Sharon Kennedy at the Supreme Court of Ohio in early 2015.
