Brian Alfred

Brian Alfred has extensive experience in human resources and employee relations, currently serving as the Manager of Employee Relations & HR Compliance at FirstEnergy since July 2012. In this role, Brian provides leadership to the Corporate HR Compliance team and has held various positions including Corporate HR Compliance Lead and Corporate HR Representative IV. Prior to FirstEnergy, Brian worked at Huntington National Bank/Sky Bank as a Regional HR Manager and Senior Employee Relations Consultant from July 2004 to March 2012, and at Second National Bank as an HR Generalist from March 2001 to June 2004, focusing on areas such as recruiting, staffing, and performance management. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Business Technology from Kent State University.
