Brian O'Donnell is currently a Captain at FirstEnergy, having held the position since 2017. With extensive experience in aviation, Brian served as a Fleet Replacement Squadron Instructor Pilot and NATOPS Program Manager in the US Navy from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, Brian was a Carrier Transport Plane Commander from 2001 to 2004, and an Instructor Pilot at Naval Air Training Command from 2009 to 2015, where they trained new Student Naval Aviators. Brian began their career as an Avionics Technician for SEAOPDET Oceana from 1992 to 1993. Brian earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics from The Ohio State University in 1997 and completed military education at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College in 2009.
