Christopher McLaughlin, P.E. is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in transmission engineering and geotechnical projects. Currently serving as a Transmission Engineer at FirstEnergy since September 2025, Christopher previously held various roles at GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. from January 2018 to September 2025, including Senior Project Manager and Project Manager. Prior to that, Christopher worked at Melick-Tully & Associates, P.C. from March 2011 to January 2018, progressing from Geotechnical Field Engineer to Staff Engineer. Earlier professional experiences include a brief role with Raytheon in 2010 and an internship with Dubai Contracting Company LLC in 2009, as well as a position as a Transportation Construction Inspector with NYSDOT in 2008. Christopher earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Syracuse University in 2010.
