Eric Filicky

Eric Filicky, P.E., CPESC, is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in civil and environmental engineering, focusing on geotechnical and transmission siting projects. Currently serving as Engineer III at FirstEnergy, Eric supports the development and execution of transmission line and substation projects, handling state regulatory filings, local permitting, and project oversight. Previous roles include Senior Project EIT and Project EIT at GAI Consultants, Inc., where responsibilities encompassed task management, quality assurance, project planning, and environmental design. Additionally, Eric worked as a Civil Associate at WallacePancher Group, contributing to civil site design and stormwater management, and gained early experience as a Construction Inspection Intern at the Ohio Department of Transportation. Eric holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil and Construction Engineering Technology from Youngstown State University.
