Evan Dean

Evan Dean is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in energy policy and corporate law. Currently serving as Senior Corporate Counsel at FirstEnergy since August 2013, Evan represents affiliates on matters related to PJM transmission policy, wholesale market design, and financial transactions. Additionally, Evan owns the Aviator Lacrosse Club, a competitive team for middle and high school boys, and is an active board member for both Friends of Stark Parks and Stark County TASC, Inc., organizations focused on community development and offender management respectively. Previous roles include Manager of Regulatory Outreach at Edison Electric Institute and Compliance Enforcement at the North American Electric Reliability Corporation, alongside various legal internships during law school. Evan holds a Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
