Jim Beam

Jim Beam is an experienced engineering and maintenance professional with a diverse background spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Plant Production Coordinator at FirstEnergy since February 2016, Jim has previously held key positions including Senior Combustion Specialist at Sammis plant and Plant Engineer at AMG Vanadium, Inc. Other roles include Engineering/Maintenance Manager at International Converter, Maintenance/Capital Projects Manager at SFI, Maintenance Supervisor at Gulf Chemical & Metallurgical, and Maintenance Superintendent/Senior Project Engineer at Noranda Aluminum. Jim's career began as a Process Engineer at General Electric after serving as an Electrician's Mate in the U.S. Navy. A graduate of Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Jim has developed strong expertise in plant operations, maintenance management, and project engineering.
