Jim Bowman is a seasoned professional in economic development with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as the Senior Economic Development Executive at FirstEnergy since April 2011, Jim has a strong background in the field, having previously worked for Allegheny Power Co. in Clarksburg, WV from May 2007 to April 2011 and in Parkersburg, WV from April 1989 to May 2007. Prior to his roles in the energy industry, Jim served as Vice President of Operations at Lowndes Bank from April 1979 to March 1989. Jim holds a Diploma from the Economic Development Institute at the University of Oklahoma, earned between 1990 and 1993, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, obtained from West Virginia University from 1973 to 1977.
