John Janssen

John Janssen, PMP, is a seasoned construction management professional with extensive experience in overseeing large-scale projects in the utility and construction sectors. As a Construction Manager at FirstEnergy since December 2014, John manages multiple contractors and consultants for critical transmission line and substation projects. Prior to this role, John served as a Construction Site Manager for Critical Business Analysis, Inc., overseeing projects valued over $250 million. John's expertise in project management processes was honed at Echogen Power Systems, where responsibilities included implementation of new project management procedures. Earlier career experiences include developing engineering and construction schedules at Middough, managing civil design projects at Mayfield Engineering, and supporting the Cleveland Hopkins Airport Expansion Program at Choice Construction. John holds a BA in Biology from the College of Wooster and further education from Cleveland State University.
