John Nauer

John Nauer has extensive experience at FirstEnergy, starting from May 1999 to the present. Currently serving as Director of Utility Sourcing, John manages the sourcing of materials and contractors for FirstEnergy Utilities. Previous roles include Manager of Supply Chain and Area Manager for Industrial Relations, where John negotiated union contracts with 13 unions and consulted with executives on labor agreement management. Earlier, as Substation Supervisor, John focused on enhancing employee engagement in safety and operational excellence while overseeing union employees in building and maintaining the transmission and distribution system. John holds an MBA in Business Management from Baldwin Wallace University and a BA in Economics from Ohio University.
