Lance Winstel

Lance Winstel is an experienced professional with a diverse background in emergency response and engineering. Currently serving as a Shift Battalion Chief and Emergency Response Team Lead at Shell since August 2019, Winstel also holds a position as a Fire Service Instructor at Belmont College since December 2011 and has been a Fire Fighter at the Toronto Volunteer Fire Department since June 1990. Winstel's extensive work history includes multiple roles as Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor at FirstEnergy's various power plants, and leadership in hazardous materials and rescue operations with Ohio Region 8 Urban Search and Rescue from 2006 to 2012. Winstel has also held managerial and engineering positions across several industries, demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and quality processes, and holds degrees in relevant technical fields from multiple institutions, including Belmont College and Eastern Gateway Community College.
