Michael Casey

Michael Casey, PMP, PE, CPM, has extensive experience in project management within the nuclear industry, currently serving as a Fleet Project Manager at FirstEnergy since January 2004. Responsibilities include overseeing licensing, security, and corporate nuclear multi-site projects such as the Three Mile Island Unit 2 and FENOC’s Fukushima Response. Michael has contributed to project standardization and process improvement initiatives, as well as managing the financial aspects of significant projects like the Beaver Valley Unit 1 Steam Generator Project. Previous roles at FirstEnergy included Corporate Purchasing Manager and Supply Chain Change Management Lead, showcasing a strong background in sourcing, asset recovery, and managing complex procurement processes. Michael holds a Master of Business Administration from Lake Erie College and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Penn State University.
