Mike Thomas

Mike Thomas, MS, CSCS, currently serves as a Meter Reader at FirstEnergy since July 2022 and is a Navy Reservist Builder (BU) with the US Navy since September 2020. With a robust background in sport performance and strength training, Mike has worked as a Sport Performance Coach at T3 Performance and Premier Sport Conditioning, where training program design and athlete assessment were key responsibilities. Previous experiences include interning in sport management at Cleveland Heights Recreation Center and The Ohio State University, where contributions included monitoring athlete hydration and assisting with nutrition. Mike has a strong educational foundation with a Master of Science in Sport Management from Cleveland State University and a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology/Adult Fitness from The University of Akron, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management from the same institution. An accomplished athlete, achievements include serving as Defensive Captain and receiving multiple player awards during tenure as a football player at The University of Akron.
