Ron Butch

Ron Butch is an experienced energy manager with a solid background in energy procurement, demand management, energy efficiency, and distributed generation. Currently serving as an Engineer in Energy Efficiency Compliance and Reporting at FirstEnergy since July 2023, Ron has previously held leadership roles including Director of Energy Efficiency Operations at Sodexo | Roth and Area Manager for First Energy Phase 3 of PA Act 129 Programs. With a track record of executing strategic plans to achieve energy savings, managing teams, and advising clients on energy efficiency programs, Ron has contributed significantly to multiple organizations, including Franklin Energy and FirstEnergy Solutions. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from Youngstown State University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University.
