Ron Long

Ron Long, PE, has extensive experience in engineering, serving as the Manager of Engineering Services at FirstEnergy since January 1997. Prior to this role, Ron Long was the Lead Engineer for Electrical & Instrumentation at BE&K from April 1996 to January 1997 and worked in Electrical & Instrumentation at Bechtel Power Corporation from July 1989 to April 1996. Ron Long holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from Penn State University, obtained in 1989, and a Leadership Berks Certificate of Completion in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Alvernia University, completed in 2012. Ron Long's foundational education was completed at Cameron County High School, graduating in 1984.
