Sam Paletta

Sam Paletta is currently semi-retired at WVDHHR and has been a Staff Nuclear Specialist at FirstEnergy since 1999. In this role, Sam coordinates emergency response efforts across three states and three counties in the Beaver Valley Power Station's 10 Mile Emergency Planning Zone, while also serving as an offsite emergency planner and trainer. Sam holds an Associate's Degree in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Management from the West Virginia Institute of Technology, which they completed between 1972 and 1976.
