Wayne Rummel is currently the Director of Operations for WV/MD Substations and Controls at FirstEnergy, a position held since 2025. Previously, they served as the General Manager of Operations Services at The Potomac Edison Company from 2020 to 2025 and managed Operation Services at Potomac Edison from 2011 to 2020. Wayne's earlier experience includes roles as a Safety Engineer at Westinghouse Electric Company, as well as various safety and operations positions at Allegheny Power. Wayne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Safety Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, awarded in 1995.
