Katherine S. has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Katherine started their career at McHardy & Burnett as a Summer Intern, where they assisted account managers with client information and documentation. Katherine then worked at Lloyd's Register EMEA as a Technical Assistant, providing support for project tracking and managing multiple projects. Katherine also worked at Tor na Coille as a Waitress for a year before joining PwC as an Associate in Corporate Tax and later in Assurance. At FirstGroup plc, they held various positions including Finance Analyst, Finance Manager, Central Finance Manager, Deputy Head of Accounting, and Head of Corporate Finance. Katherine'sresponsibilities involved financial reporting, forecasting, technical queries, and leading finance projects. Katherine is currently the Head of Corporate & Technical Finance at FirstGroup plc, where they specialize in finance projects and technical accounting and collaborates closely with Group Finance.

Katherine S. completed their education with a CA degree from ICAS - The Professional Body of CAs in 2015. Prior to that, they pursued an MSc in Corporate Finance from the University of Aberdeen, which they completed in 2011. Katherine obtained their undergraduate degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Glasgow in 2009. Katherine S. also attended Banchory Academy from 1999 to 2005.
