Paul Lyman

Paul Lyman has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Paul began their career in 1988 as a Mechanical Engineer in HM Forces. Over the years, they progressed within the organization to become an Engineering Operations Warrant Officer and Health & Safety Advisor, where they managed a team of 10 people and handled liaison with internal departments and external repair organizations.

After leaving HM Forces in 2013, Lyman took on the role of Workshop Manager at Hidrostal Ltd, where they were responsible for overseeing the daily workload of Workshop Engineers, Site Service Engineers, Drivers, and other staff members. Paul then joined Corrocoat as Works Engineering Manager, where they provided specialist anti-corrosion technology and engineering solutions to industries.

In 2016, Lyman worked as the Operations Director at Treanor Pujol Ltd, where they directed and controlled all production, purchasing, and distribution functions. Paul also acted as the main adviser on operational functions and developed annual budgets for maintenance and production.

From 2017 to 2019, Lyman served as a Senior Supportability Engineer at RED Scientific Limited, where they provided project engineering, safety, and logistic support to various customers, including the Nuclear and Construction industry.

In 2019, Lyman joined FirstGroup plc as the Engineering Quality & Audit Lead, contributing to quality control and policy compliance within the engineering/maintenance functions of the organization. Paul later moved to First Bus West Yorkshire as the Engineering Quality Manager, responsible for continuously improving quality and policy compliance across the engineering/maintenance functions of the Bus Division.

Throughout their career, Lyman has demonstrated expertise in quality control, policy compliance, project management, and operational functions.

Paul Lyman received a Level 5 Diploma in Management & Leadership and a Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Management & Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute. No other education history is provided.
