James East

James M. East is an accomplished healthcare professional currently serving as the Chief Product Officer and Head of Content Development at FirstHx since March 2021, alongside a role as a Critical Care Physician at Mackenzie Health since August 2021. James is also a Co-Founder of EmergentC and has previously worked as a consultant for Think Research. James's medical training includes a Critical Care Fellowship and residency in General Internal Medicine at the University of Toronto, as well as earlier internships at the University Health Network. James holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Limerick and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Western University. With a focus on improving complex care processes through the Centre for Innovation in Complex Care, James is dedicated to transforming healthcare practices for patients with multiple medical issues.
