Matt James

Matt James is an experienced executive with a robust background in operations and strategy, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at FirstKey Homes since November 2021. Previously, Matt held the same title at Hickory Farms, LLC., where responsibilities included overseeing multiple functions such as Strategy & Analytics, Product Development, and Supply Chain. Prior roles at Redbox encompassed leadership positions in Operations and Merchandising, where Matt directed a large team and managed extensive inventory and logistics operations. Matt also has significant consulting experience from Bain & Company and Marakon Associates, and holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, as well as a BA in Economics.
