John Reinert

John Reinert, CPA has a diverse work experience in the field of accounting. John is currently working at Firstleaf, where they started as an Accounting Manager in August 2021. John then progressed to the role of Senior Accounting Manager in October 2022 and is currently serving as the Director of Accounting since March 2023. Prior to this, John worked at H&R Block as the Corporate & Field Accounting Manager from November 2019 to July 2021. John also gained valuable experience at WireCo WorldGroup, where they held the position of Senior Accountant from May 2017 to October 2018 and later became the US GL Supervisor from November 2018 to November 2019. Before that, John worked at KPMG as an Audit Associate from October 2014 to June 2016 and as a Senior Audit Associate from July 2016 to May 2017. During their time at KPMG, they were responsible for executing and completing both public SEC registrant and private client audit engagements, developing a technical understanding of GAAP standards, and supervising and reviewing the work of audit associates and interns.

John Reinert, CPA holds a Master's degree in Accounting from Kansas State University, which they obtained between 2013 and 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting at the same university, from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their educational background, John Reinert has also obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Kansas Board of Accountancy in 2019. Recently, they acquired the WSET Level 1 Award in Wines, awarded by the Wine & Spirit Education Trust in 2022.
