George Pilat

George Pilat is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in network security and risk engineering. Currently serving as a Network & Cyber Risk Engineer at FirstLight Power since March 2023, Pilat previously held the position of Sr. Professional Services Engineer at Sophos for nearly a decade, where responsibilities included firewall configuration migrations, VPN solutions, and web traffic filtering. Prior experience includes roles at BT Conferencing, Lucent Technologies, KPMG Consulting, and Gillette, encompassing the design and implementation of secure networks, installation of critical infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with security protocols.
