John Malone

John Malone has over 29 years of work experience in the telecommunications industry. John started their career at Frontier in 1986 as a Database Engineer, where they worked on switch platforms and managed operations across 5 states. In 1998, they joined Level 3 Communications / TW Telecom as the Director of Operations, leading a team responsible for operations and engineering in the upstate NY Capital Region market. During their tenure, they oversaw network expansion, new product deployment, and advancements in network technology. Since 2015, John has been working at FirstLight Fiber as the Director of Core Field Operations, where they are responsible for strategy development, leadership of field operations management, and integration of existing and new market networks.

John Malone attended the University at Albany, SUNY, where they studied Communications.
