Scott Drummey

Scott Drummey has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Scott started their career in 1998 as an Operations Manager at Conversent Comm and then held various managerial positions at Pine Tree Networks, Otelco New England, and Mid Maine Communications. In 2004, they joined OTT Communications as a Product Development and Sales Engineering professional. Scott later worked as a Senior Sales and Product Development Engineer at GWI. In 2012, Scott became a Board Member at MTUG, where they contributed to educating the Maine business community about new technologies. Scott then transitioned to FirstLight Fiber in 2016, initially serving as a Senior Carrier Sales Engineer and eventually becoming the Director of Carrier Sales Engineering. Currently, Scott owns their own company called Freeland Designs 207, specializing in laser engraving and customized products. Their extensive experience includes leading teams, designing network solutions, conducting need assessments, and developing complex customized solutions for clients.

Scott Drummey attended the University of Southern Maine from 1992 to 1996 but did not earn a degree or pursue any specific field of study. In 1997, they enrolled at Southern Maine Community College and studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering until 1998.
