David Dyer has extensive work experience in the field of VLSI engineering. David started their career at Digital Equipment Corporation in 1987 as a VLSI Engineer and then moved on to Adaptec as an ASIC Design Manager in 1992. David later joined ST Microelectronics as an IC Design Manager from 1997 to 2000. David then worked at Broadlogic Inc as a Senior VLSI Engineer from 2000 to 2001 and at Digeo Inc as the Director of VLSI from 2001 to 2006. David then served as the VLSI Manager at Zoran from 2006 to 2011. From 2011 to 2012, David worked at Micron Technology as a Senior ASIC Verification Engineer before taking on the role of Principal VLSI Verification Engineer at Miyota Development Center Of America from 2012 to 2018. Currently, they are employed as a Senior Principal Engineer at FirstPass Engineering. Throughout their career, David has been involved in various aspects of product development such as architecture, RTL design, verification, power analysis, timing analysis, manufacturing test debug, firmware/software, FPGA prototyping, lab debug, and evaluation.
David Dyer has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University, which they obtained between 1983 and 1987. Furthermore, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan from 1990 to 1991.
