Michael Parris

Michael Parris has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and intellectual property management. Michael started their career as a Design Engineer at Ramtron in 1986 and worked there until 1990. Michael then joined United Memories as a Senior Design Engineer and later became an Intellectual Property Manager, working there from 1990 to 2010. At Tessera, they served as a Senior Director of Licensing from 2010 to 2015. From 2015 to 2016, they worked at ISSI Integrated Silicon Solution Inc. as a Staff Design Engineer and Patent Agent. Michael then worked as a Patent Agent at Morrison & Foerster LLP from 2016 to 2017 and at Dentons from 2017 to 2018. Their most recent role was at Clairvolex, where they worked as an Associate Vice President of IP Monetization from 2018 to 2019. Michael is currently working as a Principal Engineer at FirstPass Engineering, where they are responsible for custom analog design and verification of memory cells and digital and analog blocks.

Michael Parris obtained their MBA degree in International Business from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs from 2004 to 2007. Michael also pursued a degree in Solid State Electronics, MSEE, at the University of Cincinnati, and a degree in Systems Engineering, BSE, at Wright State University.
