Conrad Dempsey

Conrad Dempsey is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in banking and finance. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of FirstRand Group in Namibia since October 2020, Dempsey previously held the position of Non-Executive Board Member at First National Bank Ghana from April 2019 to October 2020. Dempsey was the CEO of Rand Merchant Bank Namibia from May 2014 to October 2020 and has a background in strategy and business development at Xstrata. Further experience includes director roles and corporate finance positions at notable organizations such as Cirrus Strategic Finance Solutions, De Beers, and KPMG. Dempsey's academic credentials include degrees from prestigious institutions, with a recent Program on Negotiation from Harvard Law School and an M.Phil. in Futures Studies from Stellenbosch University.
