Michael Preston is an experienced IT professional with a diverse background in software development, architecture, and team leadership. Currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at FNB Foreign Exchange, Michael oversees a team of over 100 IT staff managing systems related to Cross Border Payments and Exchange Control since June 2009. Previous roles include senior positions at FNB, where significant contributions were made, such as architecting the FxVantage application and implementing FX conversion for FNB's PayPal offering. Prior to FNB, Michael held positions at Accenture Technology Solutions, Absa, AOS Partner, and Mutual & Federal, demonstrating a strong foundation in Java technologies and systems architecture.
