Stephen Bull

Stephen Bull is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in audit and risk management. Currently serving as the Head of Internal Audit for both the Invest Pillar and FirstRand Corporate Centre at FirstRand Group since December 2008, Stephen also holds the position of Board Trustee for the FirstRand Retirement Fund, where contributions include chairing the death benefits committee and participating in the Audit & Risk committee. Previous roles include significant leadership in internal audit across various sectors, including asset management and treasury. Prior to FirstRand, Stephen worked as a Financial Accountant and Internal Audit Manager at Reunert and served as an Auditor/Accountant at Grant Thornton. Stephen's extensive educational background includes multiple degrees in accounting, financial management, and organizational leadership from prestigious institutions such as the University of Cape Town and the University of Johannesburg, complemented by certifications from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and the South African Institute of Financial Markets.
