Thabo Setloboko

Thabo Setloboko currently serves as the Head of Operational Risk at FirstRand Group since March 2016, where responsibilities include providing strategic guidance on risk management frameworks and overseeing operational risks across the enterprise. Prior to this role, Thabo worked as an Operational Risk Manager at Absa Wealth, focusing on managing sales risk and ensuring compliance with acceptable risk levels. Earlier experience includes a position in Business Risk at Standard Bank Group, where Thabo was involved in operational risk and control management in both retail and corporate sectors. Thabo holds a National Diploma in Internal Auditing from Pretoria Technikon and completed education at Sidinane Senior Secondary School.
