Doug Bernstein

Doug Bernstein serves as General Counsel at First Round Capital since January 2005 and has maintained a concurrent role as an attorney at Bernstein Law Group, P.C. since February 2009, specializing in outsourced General Counsel services for venture capital funds. As a founding member of TechGC, Bernstein fosters a peer community for General Counsels to exchange knowledge and support. Bernstein's extensive legal experience includes positions at Lowenstein Sandler PC, Associated Partners LP, Hodgson Russ LLP, and Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky & Popeo PC, as well as an adjunct professorship in Venture Capital at Rutgers Law School. Bernstein holds a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and a B.A. in History and Business from the University of Rochester.
