Nick Rubin is an experienced investor at First Round Capital since November 2025. Prior to this role, Rubin founded Sendo, a developer-first SMS API for AI companies, from January 2022 to June 2025. Rubin also co-founded Winno, a news curation app, serving as Founder & Editor from January 2019 to November 2021, which received notable recognition as iOS App of the Day on two occasions and ranked #8 for targeting misinformation in the media. Additionally, Rubin was the Tech Lead at TreeHacks from September 2016 to February 2019, overseeing the organization of Stanford's hackathon during those years, and held a Software Engineer Intern position at Hipcamp in the summer of 2018. Rubin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University, where attendance spanned from September 2016 to August 2021, after completing high school at Lakeside School from January 2008 to January 2016.
