Jonathan Mines

Jonathan Mines is a Software Engineer at Firstup since July 2021, previously serving as a Back-End Software Developer at J.P. Morgan where significant improvements were made to application processing and fund calculation efficiency using Java and Akka. Prior to that, Jonathan worked as a Technical Coaching Fellow at Flatiron School, guiding students through object-oriented programming and full-stack web application development. Jonathan's career also includes leadership in sales and marketing at MixedMade, where strategic management aided national expansion, and experience as an Assistant Analyst at PHD Worldwide, executing high-budget digital media campaigns. Educational credentials include a Software Engineering degree from Flatiron School and multiple degrees in Philosophy and Politics from The University of Edinburgh, Brooklyn College, and The University of New Mexico.
