Sabra Sciolaro

Sabra Sciolaro is the Chief People Officer at Firstup. Sabra has over fifteen years of experience in Human Resources, and is passionate about aligning corporate goals with people strategies.

Sabra began their career as a Human Resources Manager at HRS Erase, Inc. in May 2005. In this role, they were responsible for managing the HR function for the company. In October 2008, they moved to Helzberg Diamonds, where they served as Human Resources Administrator. In this role, they were responsible for all HR functions for the company, including benefits administration, employee relations, and compensation strategy.

In July 2012, Sabra joined FishNet Security as Human Resources Director. In this role, they were responsible for strategically aligning corporate goals with employee relations, compensation strategy, leadership development, HRIS, and HR records. Sabra also collaborated within the organization to translate the strategic and tactical business plans into employee relations operational plans and projects.

In August 2015, Sabra joined FireMon as Vice President of Human Resources. In this role, they were responsible for supporting a fast-paced global software development organization.

Sabra is currently the Vice President of People at Firstup. In this role, they are responsible for all aspects of people strategy, including recruiting, Talent Management, Diversity & Inclusion, and Employee Engagement.

Sabra Sciolaro has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Sabra also has a certification in Business Leadership from Johnson County Community College and a certification in Workplace Mediation from the Mediation Training Institute. Finally, they have a Professional Human Resources Certification from the HR Certification Institute.

Sabra Sciolaro works with Brian McDowell - Chief Revenue Officer, Jim Larrison - Co-founder & Chief Customer Experience Officer, and Tim Christensen - Chief Technology Officer. Their manager is Nicole Alvino, Co-founder & CEO.
