Tony Bishop

Tony Bishop is the current Chief Information Security Officer at FirstWave Cloud Technology. Prior to this, they were a consultant for Large Superannuation and Financial Services, the National eHealth Transition Authority, and the Department of Health. Tony has also worked as a consultant for an SME. In these positions, they were responsible for developing an IT Governance Framework and strategy, SDLC, IT Security Risk Management Framework, IT Security Policy and key policies flowing from the framework. Tony also liaised with stakeholders and developed Implementation plans for the network model, based on Azure, CaaS, Equinix, (potentially Amazon AWS) and on-premise processing requirements.

Tony Bishop has a Master's in Information Technology from the University of Sydney, specializing in computer science, networks, and security.

They are on a team with Chris Jacko - Chief Marketing Officer, Simon Ryan - CTO, and Craig Nelson - Chief Revenue Officer. Their manager is Danny Maher, CEO & Managing Director.
