Ben Welham

Ben Welham is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in operations and client management. Since November 2016, Ben has served as the Director of Listed Derivatives operations at FIS, overseeing multiple clearing functions for Americas clearing utility clients. In July 2024, Ben transitioned to the role of Global Product Development and Client Onboarding Lead. Prior to this, Ben held the position of Vice President Operations at Credit Suisse from May 2013 to November 2016, where responsibilities included managing the Americas clearing teams. Ben's career also includes a tenure as Assistant Vice President at Barclays from May 1997 to May 2013, focusing on Listed Derivatives operations, including clearing and client service management, after relocating to the New York office.
