Previously, Jamil worked as an Operation Manager at Bank Credit and Commerce from 1976 to 1992. Jamil completed their B.Sc. in Statistics at Karachi University in 1976, following a matriculation in Chemistry, Physics, and Math at GBSS Karachi Airport in 1972.
