Simon Haque

Simon Haque is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the financial markets and technology sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Strategic Accounts at FIS Global since September 2021, Simon previously held the position of Global Head of Electronic Sales Trading at BBVA from June 2007 to July 2021. An MBA graduate from Esade, Simon also has entrepreneurial experience, having launched a pioneering technology company specializing in research distribution in video, which was successfully exited through a trade sale. Prior to their roles in senior management, Simon worked at Thomson Financial in various capacities, including Director for Institutional Equities in Europe and Business Development Director for Europe. Simon also holds a Masters in International Finance from LSE IEB.
