Usman Bashir

Usman Bashir is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in machine learning and optimization. They have held leadership roles at prestigious organizations, including QuantumBlack as a Principal in Machine Learning Engineering and GTN as VP of Research & Engineering, where they built scalable drug discovery products leveraging quantum physics and machine learning. Usman focuses on mentoring and supporting teams, while currently serving as Director of Engineering at FIS, shaping the AI/ML strategy. They earned a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Sussex and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.
