Usman Shami is an engineering and product leader with over 20 years of experience, having worked at major companies including Microsoft, Amazon, and FIS, as well as founding startups. Currently, Usman serves as the Founder of #Let's Data, which simplifies data pipelines, and as a Staff Software Engineer at FIS, leading data and machine learning strategies for large-scale financial products. Previously, Usman held multiple roles at Microsoft, where significant contributions included improving API performance and developing innovative anti-spam technologies. At Amazon, Usman was instrumental in enhancing the customer experience within the Digital/Kindle Platform Web Services. Usman is also pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems Engineering and a Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Washington.
