Chris Brummer

Chris Brummer currently serves as the Agnes Williams Sesquicentennial Professor of Financial Technology at Georgetown University Law Center since 2009. In January 2024, Chris co-founded Bluprynt and also holds positions as a Non-Executive Director on the boards of K2 Integrity and PayPal Digital, Inc. Notable prior roles include Co-Founder of the Fintech Beat Podcast at FiscalNote and Independent Director on Fannie Mae's board. Chris has contributed expertise in blockchain and digital currencies as a former advisory council member for PayPal and a scholar in residence at Paradigm. Academic qualifications include a J.D. from Columbia Law School, a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in Germanic Studies, and a Bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
