John Norcio

John Norcio, CPA, currently serves as the Director of Technical Accounting at FiscalNote, a position held since January 2022. Prior to this role, John accumulated extensive experience at EY from September 2014 to January 2022, progressing from Assurance Staff to Assurance Senior and finally to Assurance Manager. Earlier career experiences include an Assurance Internship at Ernst & Young in early 2013 and an Administrative Internship at MAR Incorporated from June 2007 to August 2012, where responsibilities spanned various departments including Accounting and Human Resources. Additionally, John interned with the FDA's Division of Federal State Relations in the summer of 2010, focusing on state tobacco enforcement contracts. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Accounting with a concentration in Audit and Transaction Services from Wake Forest University (2013-2014) and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the same institution (2009-2013).
