Josh Resnik

Josh heads the legal function as well as global content solutions, including serving as the Publisher of CQ Roll Call, which has provided the most trusted, non-partisan, award-winning coverage of the federal government for the past 75 years.

Prior to FiscalNote, he spent several years in private law practice representing media entities and private equity investors. After private practice, Josh became one of the most senior in-house attorneys at AOL, including leading groundbreaking strategic partnerships with industry leaders, including Google and Amazon. Resnik went on to run the Digital division at Gannett, then one of the largest media companies in the US, where he broadened content offerings and led on digital acquisitions and investments. After Gannett he joined software company Spree Commerce as General Counsel and COO, helping lead the company to a successful acquisition by First Data Corporation.

Josh has 25 years of experience as an attorney and business leader in public and private companies. He was named to Washingtonian Magazine's "Tech Titans" list in 2019 and has served on multiple Boards of Directors.
