Mike Stubbs

Mike leads general operations and facilities management at FiscalNote, responsible for ensuring the realization of FiscalNote's physical growth strategies and employee support. Having joined FiscalNote in the fall of 2013, he shepherded the company's growth from an employee count in the single digits and 2,000 square feet to more than 130 full-time staff and 42,000+ square feet of office space across DC, NYC, and Seoul.

Previously having led the Talent division at FiscalNote, Mike drove multiple original initiatives such as recruiting and hiring, training and education, performance management, and organizational development. He is passionate about fostering welcoming, inclusive work environments that empower employee achievement and fulfillment. In 2016, Mike was selected to represent the District of Columbia's tech, creative, and business community as an Ambassador to South by Southwest Interactive. Most recently, he worked closely with the DC Mayor's Office to capture funding to keep FiscalNote's Global Headquarters in DC by creating a first-of-its-kind technology training and internship program for District residents.

Mike came to FiscalNote with a background in independent school education, both as an administrator and teacher, having taught history, government, and math. He holds an M.S. in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University and a B.S.B.A. in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Richmond.
