Alexander Batt

Alexander Batt possesses extensive experience in signals intelligence and information security, starting as a Signals Intelligence analyst in the British Army, where responsibilities included raw data collection and analysis, advancing to roles as team leader and junior non-commissioned officer. Following military service, Alexander co-founded Empiris, dedicated to enhancing the representation of veterans in the UK tech sector, and currently holds positions as a Management System Consultant at Asteria Consultancy and IT Audit Manager at Fiserv, focusing on governance and compliance. Additional experience includes roles as an ISMS Lead Auditor at LRQA and Alcumus, along with support during the Covid-19 response with Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust. Alexander holds degrees in Data Acquisition & Signals Intelligence, and Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from the Defence College of Intelligence and Royal School of Signals, respectively.
