Rob Thacher is currently serving as the VP of Information Technology at Fiserv since November 2025. Prior to this role, Rob Thacher founded and held the positions of CEO and CTO at BankShift from October 2020 to October 2025. Rob Thacher has extensive experience in software engineering, having worked as a Managing Director at Capital One from November 2007 to October 2020, and as Chief Technology Officer at Global Wireless Data for a brief period in 2007. In earlier roles, Rob Thacher co-founded Karbon Systems, serving as CEO and CPO from February 2002 to December 2006, and directed mobile solutions at WolfeTech Corporation from April 1999 to February 2002. Rob Thacher also served in the US Army from October 1994 to September 1999 as a Specialist. Rob Thacher's education includes time at Saint Leo University from 1996 to 1997 and Mount Sierra College from 1999 to 2000.
