Takis Georgakopoulos

Takis Georgakopoulos is an accomplished executive currently serving as the Executive Vice President at Fiserv since September 2024. Previously, Takis held the position of Global Head of JP Morgan Payments from 2017 to August 2024, contributing to the business's significant revenue generation of $18 billion in 2023 and overseeing daily transactions amounting to $10 trillion across 120 countries and 160 currencies. As a member of JP Morgan’s Operating Committee since 2020, Takis played a crucial role in strategic decision-making. Prior to joining JP Morgan, Takis was a Partner at McKinsey & Company from 2000 to 2007. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Mathematics of Finance from Columbia University and a Ph.D. in Economics from the National Technical University of Athens.
