Tom Michelena

Tom Michelena, MBA, is a seasoned professional in banking, finance, and fintech, currently serving as the Director of Strategy and Product at Summit National Bank since 2024. They have previously held various positions at First Interstate Bank from 2002 to 2006, served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Western States Bank from 2006 to 2019, and were the EVP at Lexicon Bank from 2019 to 2021. Michelena co-founded Fortress Trust Company, where they acted as President and CFO from 2021 to 2023, and is now a Relationship Manager at Fiserv, deploying financial solutions to institutions. They earned a BSBA from Montana State University Billings and an MBA from the University of Wyoming.
